The Executive Director KGSPHCDA – Dr Abubakar Yakubu , Management Staff and some programme officers played host to the NCDC team in the State.
The NCDC Team lead – Yenna Sebastian explained their mission to the State to assist in risk management and adherence to personal precautionary measures from contracting COVID. Also, Dr Disu Yahaya –NCDC Risk communication Focal Person appreciated the ED and State in general for the reception and hospitality during visits to gatherings on enlightenment campaigns.
The ED responding to the “August visitors” said their mission to the State was a welcome development and reiterated the fact that the Agency’s Staff especially at the PHCs are the front liners in the battle against COVID-19 and should be encouraged in the line of duty.
However, the NCDC and Agency have resolved on collaborative efforts in the fight against COVID for a healthier Kogi State.
