Kogi State primary Health Care Development Agency took delivery of IPC materials at the close of the month of June, 2021.
The Commodities were supplied by UNICEF through NCDC,distributing them from the Federal Government to States.
The Executive Director KSPHCDA- Dr Abubakar Yakubu while inspecting the materials, appreciated the Federal Government and NPHCDA for the noble gesture and reiterated his commitment to seeing that these commodities are distributed to the LGAs. He further directed the Stores Officer who took inventory of the items in collaboration with the State Cold Chain Officer – Mrs Adagiri Bilikisu to ensure the commodities are shared for LGAs to get delivery of them as soon as possible.
Items received were:
- Waste Bins – 497 pieces
- Medical Goggles – 3,744 pieces
- Masks – 150 pieces
- Surgical Gowns – 2,496 pieces
- Hand sanitizer (60cc) – 7,257 pieces
- Mop buckets with sticks – 3,579 pieces
- Buckets with taps – 120 pieces
- Liquid soap – 4,816 pieces
- Detergent – 595 pieces.
The delivery has since begun and the 21 LGAs in the State have started receiving the items.
